I like Mondays. They are like birthdays with the previous week’s activities freshly wrapped and gifted in our memory bank; ready to teach, inspire, and motivate us for the new week. So, I started It’s a Wrap Link Party as a way to share one of your posts from the past week. It does not have to be a tutorial or a recipe; simply something that you would like to share with others.

What a busy week! I have primed the walls in my daughter’s room and watched her figure out where her things will go when I am finished with all of the painting and cleaning. The hugs and kisses are well worth the mess we have right now.

Long term readers will remember when my daughter was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder and going to all kinds of therapy. So when I saw that FolkHaven had linked to Ribbon Streamers I knew I had to check it out (playing with a streamer can be therapeutic). And then found out her son also has been diagnosed with SPD! Check out the tutorial for creating your own ribbon streamers–it is very easy.

And if you happen to have an embroidery machine sitting around collecting dust (me!) then you will appreciate the idea to make your own ribbon by Sew Can Do and put your machine to use!

I have a fascination with birdcages and birds. I don’t do anything to bring and encourage the bluejays, cardinals, and finches that nest in our yard but I enjoy listening to the birds chirp and fly around. Ode to Inspiration transformed a birdcage into something vibrant and pretty.

On Ashley’s Dandelion Wishes you will find out how she created these hanging paper art. I think my daughter would like something like this in her room (when ever I get it done).

I like to use encouraging words on my journals for the Artful Rising shop so thought it was great that Maiden D’Shade created a free printable for your personal use with a great quote.

And I know I will be ordering these fabulous new wall words from Memories for Life! What I love about Edi is her attention to detail and ability to work with custom requests. It would take a while for me to recall all of the things she has made for me. I look forward to seeing my daughter’s name in her room in her chosen pink and purple. (My daughter is five and she has asked for a purple lamp. My hands are full, I tell you.)

QUESTION: I am busy transforming the old playroom into the craft room and the old craft room into my daughter’s room. What are you transforming?

I know you are ready to party so here goes!
Etiquette for parties:
1. Link to the URL of the specific blog post not your blog, etsy shop, or other site in general
2. Link back to this blog somewhere on your blog or in the post.
