I like Mondays. They are like birthdays with the previous week’s activities freshly wrapped and gifted in our memory bank; ready to teach, inspire, and motivate us for the new week. So, I started It’s a Wrap Link Party as a way to share one of your posts from the past week. It does not have to be a tutorial or a recipe; simply something that you would like to share with others.

I did not think I could get tired of painting but I am close. I painted the wall to wall cabinet my dad built for me, a shelf, the trim around the doors and the floor boards — those are really exhausting. Or maybe it is just boring to meticulously paint what seems like miles of trim over and over with first primer and then layers of paint. At least the room is coming together:)

I “Shir” Can Craft! has a great way to organize fabric which is what I need. This is a great idea for smaller pieces of fabric. And look how she separates them with the pretty containers.

I cannot say enough how much I want this magnet board from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom.

I picked up an antique mahogany mantle from the local historic foundation and while my dad and I talk about how to use it in my house with no fireplace I saw Homespun with Love and her pretty mantle.

The Moody Fashionista created these adorable band aids for her daughter but I know I want these for my minor cuts!

Speaking of little ones, how cute is this baby wreath from His Frugal Servant. The flowers are gorgeous and I like how the word is removable.

Uncommon Events has a tutorial for creating great looking cake stands. I seem to always be looking for nice ways to display treats and with one self-proclaimed princess in the house I can see these being used for tea parties.

I know this is a phone case but my daughter would use it for her little treasures. Created by Poodle Poddles.

I feel like I have been dealing with a lot of lemons lately but Memories for Life reminds us that great things can come out of lemons. In her case she has a new item for her shop!

QUESTION: What lemons have you turned into lemonade lately?

I know you are ready to party so here goes!
Etiquette for parties:
1. Link to the URL of the specific blog post not your blog, etsy shop, or other site in general
2. Link back to this blog somewhere on your blog or in the post.

Great links Erika! I love the mantel idea! I’ve always told Jesse I want a fireplace (but really I just want the mantel). He wants a real one and I’m fine with an electric one just for the looks. This mantel idea is just perfect!
And those bandaids are so cute :) I get paper cuts all the time and these would be great!
Thanks for sharing my “lemonade” album too :)

great that you’re finished with your painting. Oh gosh, trim is tedious! Now you’ll be able to show your own organizing ideas on your website! Can’t wait to see the new room! {:-D
